I’m sure every dad is a worthy winner of a Waeco! But by far my husband is truly an amazing dad to our two beautiful girls and a deserving winner of this awesome prize. No one wants to spend time away from their family but my husband is a serving member of the defence force and works mighty hard for his country and has sacrificed a lot of family time over the last few years so he can provide our family a better life and for us to be able to do the fun things our family like to do when we are together. When he’s home he loves nothing more than to spend time with his girls whether its that early saturday morning netball game or sitting watching a tennis match in the middle of winter or that end of year dance concert! It puts a smile on his face to see them having fun! He loves nothing more than taking his family camping in the great outdoors! After many years of camping with tents we were able to full fill our dream of owning a camper trailer and to be able to head out bush for some 4wd fun. There’s one thing missing and that is the one and only Waeco! Years of putting up with bags of ice after bags ice oh how much easier would camping be! and how popular would he’s two favourite girls be!

It would be great to have this cool looking and moveable cooler in our potential second kitchen.

My husband, Vic, is always ready to help our children and grandchildren with any help he can give them, be building works, driving lessons or teaching them sport.

My husband is the best daddy to our babies because he’s kind, patient and would much rather be at home with us having family time than anywhere else!

My hubby Gordy is easy going, kind , honest and hard working. Would do anything to help his girls out always lending a hand.

My dad is the coolest because he would always open his home to the friends I had that needed a home. No hesitation, no questions he would just let them stay for as long as they needed to.

We think Pete Pete should win this as he is the Waeco oolest guy in the world … Awww shucks

Our family are very happy campers, but with a family of 7 it is a BIG job! 7 bags, 3 sets of bunks, 7 chairs, 7 sleeping bags, 7 bikes and helmets, boogie boards…, well you get the picture, it’s a massive set up effort. I help out as best I can, but the bulk of it falls to him. We have been slowly setting ourselves up for camping, adding new items to make things easier or more comfortable as we can afford them. Last year our dream came true when we were able to purchase a camper trailer and it is my hubby’s most prized possession, after his children of course! The next item on our wish list is a camping fridge! We are currently still dealing with an esky and ice and with a large family, that is a large messy and expensive experience. My hubby is wonderful man and a super cool dad. He is hands on and involved with the kids, he would do anything for our family and works so hard to provide for us and we just love to get away camping as a family. The only thing that would make our dad any cooler would be the Waeco fridge, so he could crack a coldie to cool down after working up a sweat with our super sized camping set up

Although he’s a responsible “Man of the House” type, he never forgets how to be silly and have fun. He invited the father of the kids to live with us when he had no where to go because he didn’t want the kids to see their father homeless. And when the kids father abandoned them, my man stepped up and tried to support them the best he could. He inspired our daughter to follow her artistic abilities and taught our son that he doesn’t have a disability….he has personality. He makes our family complete!!!

He has a terrible memory
And an average golf stroke
He’s not at all trendy
daggy as can be…
But that’s what makes him

I think my husband is the coolest as there is nothing he wouldn’t do to get his daughter who is 2 and myself to smile and be happy.
