If they brought back the coffee shop I might never leave hehe

Holly’s was ok but would not work these days as so many coffee shops around.
It was a different time, now everyone is in such a hurry to get things done. Where would Kmart put these cafes and the safety hazards of dropped food/drinks. Loved these cafes in the department stores but they are only a dream now.

I remember as a kid going to Kmart where my auntie and nana worked and eating at the cafes. I hope they bring them back!

And I thought Kmart couldn’t get any better. My friend and I grab a coffee from Maccas and then go walking around Kmart at 9pm buying random things just to get away time from the kids… we will be able to head straight to Kmart and enjoy our coffee if this happens

cafes in shops are handy. I wonder if they will do it here??

Holly’s was always a much looked forward school holiday treat when I was a kid. I remember it as being magical. Wouldn’t work today unfortunately. It was a different time back them

I don’t even remember KMart having a cafe. I would definitely visit one if they return though

Check out the ashtray on the table lol! I don’t recall Kmart having a restaurant but I definitely remember Big W having them! I’d be open to any department store having cafes!

I don’t remember the cafe but I do remember the paint shop.

We don’t need another reason to stay at Kmart this would just keep us in store for a few more hours

I remember the Cafe at the Kmart we went to. Because of the distance we often didn’t get there until about 11.30 to 12.00. Sometimes we had something to eat before we started shopping. There was a few elderly people who were taken to do shopping and a meal there for them was a treat they loved. I hope they bring Cafes back, especially those in country areas as some people have to travel long distances to do shopping, banking, medical appointments etc.

I never knew kmart used to a have a cafe in it, that would be a great idea.

I remember visiting one at Keilor Downs back in the early 90’s. I would have only been very young but I can still remember the chips and gravy

I totally forgot about Holly’s but I remember going there with my Mum now and then.

Those cafes were awesome! Definitely bring them back!

I have no memory of this… Don’t think it would make a big difference to me.

I remember them, people would spend more time there if there was snacks to keep their energy up!

I didn’t even know they ever had one! That would be great!

yes loved going to Belmont forum and getting the crinkle cut chips from Holly’s with vinegar!
