They’re arguably one of the least aesthetic shoes in the world, but Crocs have become a footwear obsession – and now you can get your pooch a matching set.

Pet Crocs Boots have arrived!

Created in partnership with toy maker BARK the dog Crocs are available in two glow-in-the-dark colours – Green Slime and Pink Dragon Fruit.

And apparently they’re just as easy to slip on as human Crocs, with adjustable straps. The pet Crocs are available in three sizes, and for a limited time, you’ll be able to pick up a matching set. And there are also adorable croc charms as well!

They’re priced at $74.99 a set (but if you hurry Crocs has a Croctober sale on!)

  • These look so cute, they will come in handy for those hot days so their don’t burn on the hot concrete while walking your dog and they won’t burn their soft paws. Plus if you’re a fan of crocs they can match the rest of the family, just too cute. Great idea

  • Just ridiculous. The dogs will probably overheat and chew them off.

  • These would be so useful where I live. The shire no longer do anything about weeds on the verges and it spreads into our lawns. My dog will come in limping because her paws are just full of grass burrs. But unfortunately, at that price I’m just not in a situation to afford them. She is a diabetic and blind so her needs come first before the footwear.

  • Okay they are very cute but not sure why they’re necessary unless doggies paws are needing protection. I know our doggie went through a short stage of sensitive paws. But we kept her walks shorter and at the local oval until she recovered. I guess watching a dog trying to cope withe these shoes would be hilarious for some but I’ve never been one to laugh at others painful moments. We don’t live in a country prone to snow (except for very small parts of the country). So unless our vet recommends them then i could never see myself buying them for our doggie.

  • erm, this feels like an out there money grab by Crocs…but then I thought , there are people out there who like to spoil their pets, the same way parents sometimes spoil their kids, so who am I to judge?
I dont have the disposable income for this indulgence, but others may do. Who am I to tell people how to spend their money. My concern is that I hope it wouldnt encourage people to think of their dogs in crocs as simply a fashion accessory. They are sentient beings! I did wonder if it was a good thing if it prevented dogs getting burnt paws on hot days, but on very hot days it probably isnt ideal to be walking your furry friend for long in the heat anyway. I dont mind crocs but it’s a no from me for dog footwear.

  • This is absolutely ridiculous. People who have that much excess money should donate it to a worthy cause.

  • I cannot understand the mindset of anyone buying these for their dogs or ‘fur baby’ as many wish to call them. Prices are sky-rocketing and many don’t have the wherewithal to put food on the table, so why would any company advertise these sorts of things. I no longer have a dog, but I know for sure that my old fellow would have spent painstaking hours to chew these right off his feet!

  • But why? What is the point? Why would you put shoes of any kind on a dog? And if you really must, why pick ugly ones? Who has the money for this kind of silliness? So many questions abound and I doubt there’s a good answer to any of them! Oh dear.

  • Omg these are so cute but the price is OTT. Don’t think I would consider these for my pup

  • Oh my word, how ridiculous!! Crocs for humans are expensive enough, I think some people must just like to throw their money away, and what’s more, dogs actually don’t really like shoes. Shoes are completely unnecessary for your dog and are simply a fashion accessory and an unneeded extravagance. In these times where it’s expensive enough to live, I can think of better things to spend my money on.

  • You have to be kidding me!! This is absolutely a ridiculous, money making idea. Dogs aren’t meant to wear shoes. It’s cruel and totally unnecessary. If it’s hot you don’t take them for walks. If it’s cold you can put a jacket on them but it’s really not required. Look at the Husky dogs in the snow that pull those ploughs. Do you see them wearing shoes? No!! This is just a silly idea that people who have more money than common sense will lap up. I have a beautiful Groodle and she’s the love of my life but no way would I put shoes on her for our walks. When it’s hot I take her early morning or very late in the afternoon and she walks on grass. But these are just plain cruel.

    • I do kind of agree with you, it is a very silly idea and people who would buy these do have too much money to spend. I initially thought it would be good for those who walk their dogs when the pavement is hot but too be honest, it is very unlikely dogs will want to wear them, they will probably just crew them!

      • I understand the concern, but where I am in QLD the paths are already too hot for walks past 9am, and it’s not even summer yet. And some of the beaches and inlets have jagged rocks in the shallows. If you have a dog who is okay and not distressed wearing them, and it’s for short periods, I don’t see why it’s that crazy. Some people like to take their dogs on outdoor adventures and want to ensure all terrain is safe for their paws.

  • Our pets do not like to wear warm coats in the cooler weather and I cannot imagine they would wear these shoes on their feet/paws. We always stay away from hot areas such as footpaths in warm weather. We always make sure we protect precious paws by walking when it is cooler.

    • Paws can get injured when it is too hat and there needs to be better education around not walking dogs when it is very hot outside. It is always concerning when I am driving and see people walking their dogs on the footpath in very hot weather; it is not good for humans or dogs.

  • Are you serious hahaha I think dog would hate them they dont look comfy

  • LOL these are super cute but I wonder if dogs really need shoes to wear. I am not a dog owner but i guess if you are wanting to go out walking in summer, it will protect their paws from the burning pavement which is a good thing. I wonder how comfy they will be?

  • My first thought was “oh my goodness, do dogs need shoes ?”
But apparently dog boots and dog shoes are a great way to help protect paws in cold weather, in hot weather, and on rough terrain. For dogs that join their humans walking, running, hiking, skiing, and everyday exploring, boots can help protect paws from getting things like cuts, burns in hot weather, or frostbite in cold weather.

  • Lol they are actually so cute!! I wonder if it’s comfortable. Would be great on hot days so they dont burn their feet

  • Hahah these are adorable!! It would look adorable to see four little glowing feet out on a walk. I know a few people who would love to be matchy matchy with their pups. Now we need to see some dog themed badges so they can accessorise to their tastes too. If you’re gonna go OTT go all the way!
