E-tax – the fastest way to get your tax refund!

If you think you’re due a refund this tax time, why not lodge online this year using e-tax, the Australian Tax Office’s free, fast and secure system.

You can use e-tax in just five easy steps and, if you’re due a refund, you should get it within 12 business days after lodging.

You will also save time as e-tax puts in some of the information the ATO has about you, directly into your tax return.

5. Lodge

And, if your Mum and Dad are still lodging by paper, now’s your chance to do it differently.

Maybe you could convert them too!

E-tax is available from ato.gov.au from 1^st July and you must lodge by October 31^st.

It took a while to go through all of the online forms but the money I saved not using a tax accountant was worth it

My tax returns are always very straight forward & I feel they charge an arm & leg so this is is something I’ll be looking into after reading this. This is very interesting indeed & I thank you for putting this up, tax time Argh but maybe no more 🙂

I used etax this year and it was relatively easy. Took a while to fill in but saved me from paying the tax accountant fees.
