Is it really possible to find eco-friendly wipes? Well, we have and we think they’re the best we’ve ever tried!

The phrase ‘eco-friendly wipes’ admittedly sounds like a bit of a contradiction. An unbelievable 75% of sewer blockages are said to have been caused by wipes, posing an environmental risk due to overflow. Wet wipes and disposable nappies are also amongst the worst contributors to landfill in Australia. So can a wipe really be made with the planet in mind?

Ecoriginals Natural Eco Baby Wipes are made using nurturing ingredients sourced directly from farms in New Zealand, ensuring the gentlest care for your baby’s little bottom and a sustainable solution to the environmental impact of wipes. Check out our top reasons why we think they are the best eco-friendly wipes we’ve ever tried!

100% Compostable

Wipes are a convenient and often necessary part of keeping your baby fresh and clean, particularly when dealing with any unfortunate nappy accidents or leaks! Even though they are essential for many parents, the amount of waste created by disposable wipes is a significant concern, not to mention the other problems they create.

Thankfully, with Ecoriginals Natural Eco Baby Wipes, these are concerns that you will no longer need to worry about. The soft bamboo fibre construction means that these eco-friendly wipes are fully biodegradable and home compostable, able to break down in just three weeks! Best of all, the packaging for the wipes is also 100% compostable so there are no unnecessary plastics to hinder the process and every part of the product can be returned back to earth. Certified Organic Ingredients

Many wipes are heavily fragranced or contain a long list of unidentifiable ingredients that could cause irritation and dryness. Ecoriginals Natural Eco Baby Wipes come in three natural scents, including Organic Manuka Honey, New Zealand Purified Water, and Organic Goat Milk, with no alcohol, no chlorine, no phthalates, no synthetic fragrances, and no parabens.

The Organic Manuka Honey range has all the anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties of manuka honey, which are ideal for repairing and soothing delicate skin and protecting against rash and irritation. Ecoriginals source manuka honey with a rating of MG650+, so it’s potent with the beneficial properties of the world’s most sought-after honey.

The New Zealand Purified Water range provides a gentle and hydrating clean, with 99.7% water for a pure, gentle clean. They are enhanced with organic aloe vera extract, vitamin E, chamomile essential oil and soybean amino acid to help strengthen the skin’s natural defence system.

The Organic Goat Milk range is naturally high in fat for an extra nourishing boost and packed with skin-repairing Vitamin A – just what little bots need!

Whichever range you choose, you are guaranteed the gentlest care for even the most sensitive skin, but Ecoriginals also provide the option to mix and match so you can try all the available types and find your favourite!

Sustainably Made

When making sustainable product choices for your family, it is not just about what is used to make them, but also how they are made. Knowing where your wipes come from and how they are constructed ensures you are selecting the best option for your baby and making an eco-friendly choice.

Ecoriginals Natural Eco Baby Wipes are made entirely from certified pure ingredients which are sourced locally in New Zealand, before being brought together in Ecoriginals’ off-grid manufacturing facility. The whole process is powered by sun, wind, and water so you can be reassured that you are supporting sustainability with every purchase.

If you are looking for an eco-friendly wipe that also protects your bubs bottom from any irritation, try Ecoriginals Natural Eco Baby Wipes and enjoy all the benefits they have to offer.

  • Amazing that these are such a thing now. I always used to simply just use a wet face washer that once used was tossed into the baby nappy bucket with napisan. I had a clothes line full of nappies and face washers daily plus all the baby clothing. It was always a battle to get everything dry
