Hello!

I was just wondering if you could post asking about ideas for a small 4.5 month old who wants to be up and about all the time? I’ve tried in a walker/activity gym and she’s still not big enough. Thank you

  • Oh isn’t this an exhausting time. I see other mums have offered some great suggestions and don’t think I can really add to them

  • Great suggestions from other MoMs.

  • Just be with bubba trying to encourage movement, lots of tummy time,

  • That’s a tricky one. Could you get a little car ghat you can push her along in to entertain her. Not sure what would be available for such a young bub though. My boy always wanted to be outside and was very entertained watching birds etc

  • the bumbo seats are great

  • What did you end up using with her?

  • how is little one going now?

  • What have you ended up doing with your little one?

  • Ours loved her swing and it had toys attached and also tunes

  • rocker with toys attached to it?

  • What did you end up using?

  • There are some really good suggestions below.

  • A Jolly Jumper is loads of fun for them.

  • We had a rainforest jumperoo and it was great you put the in there and they learn to use there legs and jump around or if the cant do that yet then there are lots of toys to play with

  • Place her on your knee and tap her gently or rub her gently

  • High chair to roll around the house with you, or swing anything that reclines, bouncer….put in pram and wheel around in and outside. Really where ever u are doing things :) they love it

  • I had the amazing My Little Lamb swing and my son adored it

  • the bouncinettes are amazing, I recommend one of those for sure it uses up all of their energy!

  • I put my kids in a jolly jumper…two of them loved it and the third hated it.

4mth olds do well with the bouncinettes also

  • Ps
I would not put her in a walker just yet, she is a bit too young for that and it can be bad for her spinal alignment
