Has he been or is he being exposed to cigarette smoke? This is a common cause of infant and childhood chest infections. As well as numerous other infections. If it’s from smoke, there’s not much to do but ride it out

I think you need to get him checked for asthma.. Better to get it diagnosed if he has it to control it.

is their moisture in his room where he sleep, try some damprid and see what happens. if there is moisture in the air this will definitely cause chest problems

Your GP defantly needs to rule out asthma. In the mean time have you tried a vaporizer with some eucalyptus oil and lavender oil to help with the congestion and fight infection. Steam is also amazing when it comes to chest infection and they are having trouble breathing.

You need to see your GP. Asthma is also very hard to diagnose in infants so GP’s tend not to.

It is hard especially in the winter months with this, try and keep them rugged up and no late bathing in the winter.

My little guy is a similar age and suffers frequent chest infections too. No doctor had ever raised any concerns over it potentially leading to asthma.

I have one child like this and yes she has asthma but the good thing is they can grow out of it
