  • Unfortunately just normal! None of my 3 children slept through the night until they were two.
Check the usual things like not too hot or too cold, not hungry, you could try letting them self settle for a bit.

  • warm drink before putting down to settle. Make sure not too hot or cold. If any chance of teething then try some Panadol

  • My baby is also having the same issue :(

  • A paediatrician might be able to give you some good tips. My son has just turned 2 and has only just started sleeping through the night on and off

  • How are they sleeping now?

  • i hope all is going well

  • Hope you have managed to find a way to help them sleep better.

  • Won’t sleep at all or won’t sleep through. A lady at the chemist told me her child would micro sleep and it would seem like they never slept at all!

  • I hope for your sake soon they will sleep during the night

  • Sounds like your baby wants to be an owl

  • Any advice below helped since your post?

  • Some kids just don’t sleep all night through, my daughter took a long time before she did.

  • Did you find any good tips you like?

  • Let them lie in the cot, I do that with my 20 month old lays there silently and falls asleep when she gets bored

  • My two year old still wakes. All kids are different. I know it help my bub to have light relaxation cd on in the background

  • My 2 year old and 4 year old still wake at least once most nights.

  • Is your baby hungry when they are waking? waking out of habit? To warm/cold? wanting their dummy?.. My 6 month old son was waking constantly through the night not hungry purely just wanting his dummy.. Our paediatrician advised us to ignore him allowing him to have a grizzle. He now sleeps 7-7 every night.. It’s tough ignoring them but it has paid of as he is now a much happier baby getting a good solid amount of sleep..

  • Its true what other people have said, some babies don’t sleep through the night at that age and its nothing you’re doing wrong.

  • Doesnt Sleep through the whole night or doesnt sleep at all?

  • They are a baby, they may not be ready to sleep all night yet.
