Hello!

Lack of sleep and age are finally catching up. Can anyone recommend a good eye cream/serum to treat dark circles under my eyes?

  • There are so many – I can’t think of any that actually work, though.

  • After trying everything, I ended up going to a natrapath that detected that I had bad circulation and liver issues. After months of taking specially made up tonics my eyes no longer have black underneath them because I fixed the root of the problem.

  • I know what you mean about the tired black circles. I use eye cream at night that is more for anti-wrinkle than anti-black bags. However I have found Clarins “Sunscreen For Eyes Wrinkle Control Cream” is awesome during the day. It is a light-weight eye anti-wrinkle cream that also has sunscreen and therefore is a bit whiter going on to your skin. So it lightens your black bags with the whiter colour, refreshes the area with a lightweight / non-gluggy cream and acts as an anti-wrinkle cream. So much better than a gluggy concealer that only amplifies the wrinkles. I love it so much I got some for my mum too ! Good luck.

  • make-up is good for those circles plus try to get more sleep. maybe do talk to your doc in case there is more to it. i don’t know if a cream can specifically change that, i am not sure though. It can just be hereditary for some people though.

  • Sometimes dark circles under your eyes are a sign that your kidneys are not working properly, you may need to drink more water,I would look a bit further into your health so you can get to the bottom of your problem, then rely on old wives tales ,both my dad & daughter, now 28 had dark circles under there eyes, she had kidney stones at 25 & my dad has only 1/3 of his kidneys working properly, too much coke, not enough water.
