  • I use my air fryer all the time and have had no issues with my new bench top

  • You could place one on a heatproof surface which should not affect your new kitchen.

  • Yea love mine! I’m trying to research a bigger better one now that does a lot more then my little one! They come in handy and can replace the oven !

  • If your worried I would put it on top of a sink drainer as metal, but I have used mine on a tile. I haven’t heard anyone saying it damaged a serveries.

  • I have always wondered if they were worth buying they a little too expensive for me

  • I’ve never heard that, but I guess it depends on the type of benchtop you have.

  • I bought one for my son to use when he’s cooking our evening meal. He only used it once for chips and he said they didn’t cook as good as the oven and he wanted to sell it. Got a family member to tell him what she thought of it and she told him all the things they make in it. He’s been using it ever since. As for the damage it can do to benchtops, we have a marble bench top and I have a thick wooden board (about 1/2 inch thick) which I use for anything that’s hot like the kettle, air-fryer, toaster and when used – the crockpot. He even cooks steak and sausages in it and they are perfectly done every time.

  • We love ours and use it a few days a week. We keep it on a wooden chopping board to prevent any damage to the benchtop, but never have had any worries. Love that you can cook oil free. Anything that calls for oil frying, we do in the air-fryer. So it feels a little healthier.

  • We use ours so often it’s nearly replaced our oven. If you’re concerned, just sit it on a cutting board or board placemat. That’s what we do.

  • Great during summer when you don’t want a to heat the house by using big oven, faster as only heating a small space not a big oven. I

  • yes yes yes they are worth it love mine

  • I say yes yes yes! We love ours!!

  • I found Air fryer more useful than the Oven. We use most of the days to make quick dinners. We never had problem of cracked bench tops.

  • Iv never had it crack my bench top but if your worries you could get a wood chopping board to sit it on top of?

  • I have had mine for 10 years and use it all the time. I don’t have anything under it, its near the wall and I’ve never had an issue with it cracking the surface or walls and I have lived in 3 different rental homes so far. My son also bought one as the oven in the house he was renting didn’t work and he liked mine and he uses his every day and has never had an issue with his either. We both have Phillips brands. I think they are the best.

  • You need to get a proper branded one and you should have no issues. We mostly use ours for chips- healthier than deep frying. There’s more you can do with them but I mostly don’t bother.

  • I use mine most days of the week. So much quicker than the oven. No preheating, or only 2mins if you really want. I never use my oven and barely use my stove now too. I even make steaks in airfryer and so juicy and yum! Better still, no more “stealth smell” in the house when cooking. I have a chopping board underneath and keep it away from wall when in use. No issues. Food is healthier oil/fat drips away.

  • I think it depends how often you woukd use it also.
I love cooking but I dont think I woukd use an air fryer often at all so that’s why I havnt bought one. The cracking of the bench tops is because it needs to be standing on something not placed directly onto of the bench top. Pretty sure it states this in the instructions

  • I decided against an air fryer as I doubt my partner would be able to eat most of the fried food from it. With a new kitchen I also didn’t want to take the risk.

  • Yes worth every cent ????
