Don’t mess around with croup. If cold air does not fix it, go to ED.

Only natural treatment I know of is a steamy bathroom. But that just helps soothe the cough, doesn’t actually treat the infection. A dr visit is needed for proper treatment

I thought you could only treat croup with prescription and/or chemist medication? I have been told of the steamy bathroom helping to soothe the cough

I have heard of putting eucalyptus in steamy atmosphere. However I know one who is allergic to eucalyptus. I know a toddler who had to be airlifted to a city hospital as he didn’t respond to natural or small hospital treatment at all. The only thing that helped him at all was adrenalin.

Have you considered homeopathy? Also there are many herbs which can help, you make them into tea’s and water it down, try chamomile tea. Search the internet for more.
