Mersey Valley Vintage is a great tasty cheese; King Island Brie or Camembert is a soft mild cheese. It depends where you are in Australia as to what others to recommend – if you are in Queensland, the following have excellent cheeses – Maleny Cheese Factory and Kenilworth Cheese Factory. Oh yum, one of my favourite foods. King Island do really lovely cheese. I quite often buy a cheese selection box from the supermarket. It’s a good way to taste new cheeses without wasting lots

I love the idea of a platter with cheese from each state and territory.

I would serve a cheese platter and try to include a cheese from each State. King Island Double Brie would be on my list. If you don’t want to purchase whole pieces, try the Deli section who will be able to put a selection together for you.

Thanks for the tip mum224471 – I haven’t heard of this Aussie cheese or seen this Aussie cheese. Will keep an eye out for it at Coles.

A good Aussie Cheese, try Coles Extra Reserve Cheddar #6…..Lovely crumbly, and just the right amount of bite to it….
