Nearly 3 year old is still in a sleeping bag. Works perfectly, won’t be taking her out of it anytime soon

I never used blankets for this reason with my youngest because she didn’t tolerate blanket I always bought thick winter onesies with a tick padded sleepingbag/tog. My youngest is 6yrs now and still uses a sleeping bag.

A baby sleeping bag would be a good option.

My grandson is the same. His parents dress him in pyjamas and then put one of those fleecey onesie/sleeping bag things over the top

I’ve had this problem with all four of my kids and my 7 month old does that now. The safest way is baby sleeping bag. You can get ones that a little thicker or thinner depending on weather.

Wow, what an active sleeper! Only thing I can suggest you seem to already be trying. Which is as much sleepwear as possible and then a sleeping bag suit over the top. Then again, have you thought bub could be squirming a lot because of all the clothes? Have you tried normal pjs and bed covers

Both of mine have been like this. I do multiple layers. For my latest it is Socks, two onsies and was able to find a sleeping suit thing at cabbage patch kid with has that fake bear fur but also well lined.

I haven’t used any blankets for this reason and am wondering how I’ll ever get my toddler in a bed with blankets! – she’s on a onesie (singlet and socks), then a sleep sack or sleep suit. Re sleep suits you can get fleecy ones and ones with tog ratings. We also leave the reverse cycle aircon on – not ideal but her room has gotten to 16 degrees and set the alarm off on her monitor

My boys are the same so I put an oil heater in their room. I turn it on (and the ducted heating off) 1/2hr before I go to bed, use a room thermometer and only have it on low. It doesn’t make a huge difference to the temp but it is enough to help them sleep through the night. 🙂
