No I’ve never been a foster mum. Good on those who are able to provide a place for kids that need some outside support.

I am not a foster mum. But if you have a problem or question ask it directly and maybe some of us could help you. Remember that a child in your care needs extra love and patience. But you are replacing the mum at this moment in their lives so treat them like your own. All children need discipline, your time and your love. The magic trio. I don’t believe in hitting. I ask why they did something gently and advise if its not a good idea and why. If they do it again they lose a privilege, tv, toy but not anger.
