I haven’t used it personally with my daughter but have friends who have used it or something similar. They didn’t have any luck though and ended up going to a sleep school. Good luck mummy x
We had trouble with bubs waking at 11.00pm every night after he had been sleeping all night. His sleep had been disturbed a few times because of shift work by both of us. We took him to the Dr. who could find nothing wrong with him and decided his sleep pattern was out of whack. The were given drops to give him at a set time next night. As soon as he started sleeping until nearer normal time they weaned him off them, actually earlier than the Dr. recommended. No problem since.
I think sleep will come with time. But I have actually tried a brauer natural product that was calming drops on myself (it was made for kids) and helped me drift off.
I would try a mother baby unit for sleep school if you can. They really helped me and my Lo. She is a brilliant sleeper now of course apart from those teething times.
If your in Melbourne there are a couple I have had good reviews. North park in Bundoora is where I went. Amazing ladies. Masada are apparently brilliant. And if you don’t have private health there is one out of Werribee hospital. It’s just my opinion is this is better than giving sleeping aides. Plus you will get some well earnt sleep while the ladies resettle as best they can without waking you.
We tried it with our then 3 year old, as a friend found it and gave it to us. Not sure I actually worked. We had a night or 2 of sleep while using it but don’t think it was a direct result of the product….
Sorry, I wish I could tell you otherwise :-(. But in most cases, kids will sleep better as they get older. My son is now almost 5 and sleeps pretty well now…no magic cures- just lots of running around during the day and a regular bed routine.
Good luck with your babies. You will get some sleep soon, I promise!!!
No; I have never tried any products to assist with sleeping. I would suggest you discuss sleeping issues with a community health nurse or your GP. They should be able to help you with strategies for long term sleep solutions.
Unfortunately i doubt these sorts of things actually work as effectively as they claim. Maybe they relax a little but prob not enough to make a noteable difference.
I have tried sleep from the body shop and a lavender spray but neither of them really worked. Sadly My son who is 6 has had to go to the doctor to get medicine to help him go to sleep he would go down at 10 and wake up at 3 nothing else worked… But as the doctor said it is only a short term fix to train him to sleep through the night…..
