Keep moving, plenty of water and fiber. When needed add a bit of ground flax seed sesame seed and or chia seed to your cereal. Senna tea can be helpful too.
Prunes are meant to be great, according to my GP. Whatever you do, don’t take a bunch of Metumucil. Just after my youngest was born, I was so scared of being constipated and ripping my stitches that I took a lot more fibre than it said on the tub. I thought the more the merrier. I ended up with the worst constipation of my life and strained so hard I popped something. Turns out I have a rectocele and need surgery.
