  • Definitely look on Etsy ! Lots of pre made games

  • Just get them off the internet – there are heaps and so much cheaper!
It’s always fun with games at parties as then you don’t have to make small talk if you get stuck sitting with people you don’t know.

  • Games in general are a good way to include everyone and get everyone involved especially if people don’t know each other well.

  • They are good for somwthing to do, especially if some people dont know anyone

  • i saw lots of videos in tik tok. you can get some ideas it will be a fun and exciting events

  • Games are a great idea to break the ice when the shower kicks off. There’s lots of great ideas out there

  • These are great to look back on. My girls made personalized ones for us and we love looking back on the guesses

  • Games are always fun and a great way to get everyone laughing and joining in. Heaps of games on pinterest, but a favorite we play is you have to make a baby out of playdough or plasticine. everyone gets some and you have a 5 minute time frame. Some of the results are hilarious

  • I’m not sure about game cards. But there are some great ideas on Pinterest.

  • It definitely broke the ice for the people that didn’t know each other. I downloaded a few from Etsy

  • We had some fun baby shower games at my daughter’s shower.
1 – I gave everyone a spoonful of dried alphabet pasta and they had to make five baby related words out of the letters.
2 – Everyone had a bracelet given to them when they arrived (homemade- pony beads on elastic). No one was allowed to say the word ‘baby’ If you caught someone saying ‘baby’ you got to take a bracelet from them.
3 – I printed off sheets with twelve different celebrity baby photos on it, ie; Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman, King Charles, Ed Sheeran, etc. Everyone had to write down how they thought they were.
4 – I bought some tiny plastic babies and froze them in large ice cubes. Everyone got a ‘baby’ in a cup/glass. When the ice melts, they have to shout “My water’s broken”
5 – Everyone gets to cut a piece of string the length, around, that they think the Mum-to-be’s tummy is. Everyone takes turns to check.
6 – Everyone is given a small onesie, nappy, wrap and teddy or doll. First to dress and wrap their ‘baby’ wins. All whilst holding their phone to their ear with one hand.
For prizes we had nice scented candles and shower melts.
Everyone received a party bag with a piccolo bottle of ‘Yellow’, to celebrate once the baby is born and a few Lindt balls.
We got out the good china and decorated with flowers, homemade floral bunting and strings of vines with fairy lights. We went with the theme of a garden party. It was a beautiful afternoon.

  • I always enjoy a good game, just nothing that drags on too long.

  • Games do help to keep an event moving and fun rather than people simply sitting around in groups and eating and chatting. A game ensures everyone gets involved.

  • Lol, I can’t advice you, I’ve never been to a baby shower !

  • Baby showers I attended had some games and they were fun.

  • I found discounts on many baby products here. You can take a look too. You’re sure to find a product you’ll like. https://www.catalogueau.com/sales/?category_id=77

  • I think it sounds like a great idea. Games can be a great way to get everyone involved in a laugh and ensure there aren’t just pockets of seperate conversations going on.

  • I think game cards sounds like fun! Lots of people have all different things- I think trivia can be fun and is on the same lines. Some people might do games that are a bit more active, but that might not suit everyone invited.

  • I think you need to judge it by the people you have invited. Some people prefer to mingle while others do love playing games. Personally I don’t like games and would rather take the opportunity to catch up with my friends instead but everyone is different so do what you think will work for you and your guests you have invited.

  • Hey there! Baby shower game cards can add a fun and interactive element to the celebration – many guests enjoy them as they add to the festive atmosphere and create memorable moments!
