Some babies eye colour change is quite obvious after a few weeks, others there is only a slight change.

My sons eyes were dark grey blue when he was born and are now a light blue grey, sometimes green, haha like his fathers eyes.

WE have brown eyes and when both my kids were born , they were close to black. It could be the genetics of all babies features are like that when they are born. When you look at all baby animals their eyes and pupils are always very dark and that is how we can tell if an offspring is a baby or an adult . Once they start growing it slowly starts changing to a lighter degree, but the main primary colour of what it should be shouldn’t change .

Yes i think they can go darker but mine have both stayed blue, which my husband has yet mine are brown.

Yes, most babies are born with blue eyes. My eldest son was born with grey and they went dark brown within the first 12 weeks. Yes, my babies eyes were navy and now they are light blue. Mine were bkue and changed to green in primary school. Optometrist said it’s melatonin and can change anytime. I notice my sister’s blue eyes look more green these days (she’s in her 40s)

It does happen, o was born with brown eyes, but they’re now blue.

I wouldn’t say often but it is true. Both of my eyes were born with deep blue eyes, they have just come a little lighter blue as they got older but never changed colour

Yes they tend to be lighter in colour and then change as they produce more Melanin but this also depends on bubs gene’s as well.
