Bedtime demands - Mouths of Mums

Hello!

What is everyone’s toddler or older child demand to take to bed?
My little one is obsessed with a small pink pets alive fish… as it’s so small, we lose it alot 🙃. Won’t go to bed without it…

  • We are no longer in toddler years and bedtime rituals; however, when the children were toddlers, they loved to take their favourite teddy bear to bed and snuggle with it. They also liked to take their favourite books to bed and would fall asleep reading them which of course were then packed away by us!

  • My 12 year old (she has Down syndrome and functions on a level of a 3 `a 4 year old) sleeps with a pile of teddies, but there is one she holds and cuddles the most whilst she is sleeping and that is a cat. But at times she sleeps with bundle is teddies wrapped up in her arms

  • Right now my toddler loves his Ibis, or bin chicken, that he got from the Bluey stage show. It makes the grumbling to keep playing during bath time fall away when he knows that his Ibis is waiting in his bed for him. Definitely tries to bring hard toys into bed, which is a no no

  • My daughter always has to have a teddy with her to sleep, it got to the point that she had 3-4 teddies in her bed and there was no room for her to sleep so thankfully we have gotten it down to 1 teddy at night, they all take turns at sleeping with her.
