I wouldn’t call it a demand as such but my daughters most favourite teddy is a cat and this is so for many years. She has quite a bunch of teddies in her bed every night but she hugs her cat always tightly whilst the rest lay beside her. At time she hugs a couple in her arms and falls asleep that way.

As I wrote in the other post of the same question, the current bed time love is his stuffed Ibis toy from the bluey stage show. He also has a cockatoo from Aussie zoo and a hedge hog. Very often he’ll want to bring cars and monster trucks, but I’m not keen on hard toys in bed
