My boys grew up camping & most kids enjoy wide open spaces! Now adults with kids of their own they still enjoy holidaying this way.

The Gold Coast has alot to offer the kids.

Take you child camping. Hire a van, find a cabin or take a tent. They is a great deal of evidence that getting away from civilisation, and screens (leave them at home) is beneficial to physical and mental health.

Paradise Resort on the Gold Coast is fantastic for kids! They have a water park, kids club and iceskating! You don’t even need to leave the Resort to have a great holiday!

Good to look for deals with meals provided – packages or self catering and take along supplies. Places that include breakfast are good as everyone can fill up with energy food. If you like camping that is always an alternative too if you have a tent etc.

The caravan park has sites over looking the beach if you have a van or they have lovely cabins. The beach is shallow and safe for kids to splash and frolic in
There is a free water park adjoining the caravan park which is a hit with the kids too.
Fishing is good from the jetty also if that your thing!

Resorts that have a mixture of cabins are good for holidays. They always have pools and play areas and often are close to the ocean with good views. They often have special activities for children too.

Somewhere close to home I’d say.

I would go to Fiji Islands!
