  • Guess Who? – A fun guessing game where players ask yes/no questions to figure out each other’s mystery character.
Codenames – A word association game that’s easy to learn and great for all ages.
Connect 4 – A classic game of strategy and quick thinking that’s always a hit with kids.
UNO – A card game that’s simple to play, and kids love the fast-paced action.
Jenga – The classic game of balance and skill that’s sure to get everyone laughing.

  • I was going to suggest Trouble. Also card games are fun, Uno, snap and go fish. We have Taco, cheese, pizza too. It’s a great card game you can get from Big W.

  • Guess Who and battleships are always fun. We also like card games too

  • We love to play Monopoly, Scrabble and a variety of card games. There are mobile app versions these days, but they’re not as fun as the real board games.

  • Our 8 year old loves UNO, Hungry Hippos, Scrabble Junior and Kids Pictionary :)

  • Monopoly is a classic, and with so many variations made you can find one that matches your families interests (we loved Simpsons monopoly as kids), trouble, Pictionary, and it’s never to early to get kids into card games. We were playing (friendly) games of poker pretty early as a family growing up.

  • My 5 and 10 yr olds love hungry hippos, Jenga and we have bingo with the ball machine and cards, it’s been a great help teaching my youngest big numbers and independence whilst playing it

  • Monopoly is the best game for kids to get maths and money management skills while having fun. My son hates maths at any other time, but ask him to work out the money to buy things or get change in Monopoly, he loves it completely. So he has fun and revels in winning, while I sit there loving that he is doing so many calculations without realising he is learning at the same time.

  • Our most played games are Uno, Skipbo, Guess Who and Battleships but occasionally when we can handle the broken family we play Monopoly. There are some interesting looking games out there though!

  • Always a good idea to buy games when they are on sale.

  • Memory, Boggle, Monopoly (modified), Guess Who and other traditional favourites.

  • As a child I loved going to my Grandmas and playing cards with her. She had a set of almost 3 packs that were well used and loved so the start was to sort through them and make the 2 packs and then games like 500, snap, pairs. We also used to spend time trying to build a huge house of cards. Beyond that, I also used to love monopoly and boggle as a kid.

  • I always loved playing UNO when I was a kid. It’s still one of my favourite games as an adult.

  • My kids are 2 and 3 and we like playing hungry hungry hippos, don’t break the ice catching bugs and trick sticks.

  • My kids love Scrabble, Monopoly, Memory match games, Ludo, Rummikub, Exploding Kittens, Burrito
