We’ve just come back from Sea World resort & our 4yr old loved it. I’ve too heard Paradise Resort is great for kids.

The state auto club websites have heaps of ideas (i,e RACV, RACT, RACQ etc) and great deals for members.

Pretty sure there would be many family friendly resorts in Australia. Have you tried Googling it? Think about what the family likes to do and go from there

My children thoroughly enjoyed staying at Paradise Resort on the Gold Coast(Qld) as they provided numerous activities for them to do, we have also stayed at Treasure Island which is now run by NRMA also a lovely place and lastly we have stayed at Ashmore Palms also a nice place but not as much for the kids to do. All places are in Qld and all not to far from theme parks
