I’ve been told Country Club Casiono is lovely. Nice and close to the city centre and, surprisingly, quite affordable

We stayed in China Town and found that really reasonable. Another option is Stayz or Air B’n’B. They have lots of different types of accommodation in different areas of Melbourne

I swear by Airbnb or using Hotel Combined (compares all hotel booking sites). Airbnb has provided some fascinating stays from penthouses you studious with graffiti walls and a place inspired by forests and clouds 🙂

I book directly with the accomodation venue for the best price.

Try Agoda or Air bnb – anywhere in the cbd or Southbank has a nice ambience.

Best place to stay in Melbourne, for me, that’s not too expensive is at my sons. Stay as long as I like, payment is to help out with whatever they’re doing and clean up after myself
