  • oh I think I need to try the Lysterine on my teenage daughter!

  • I have recently read on ?MoMs about a teen that used Listerine gold (I think that’s the original one) on her acne and saw a change in 2 weeks. Just a cotton ball soaked in Listerine and wiped over face. I’m yet to try it, but am excited

  • Roaccutane is the only thing that worked for my teenage acne, but I had it hardcore :/

  • Tea tree products are simple and work well … Thursday plantation is a great brand

  • Clear range from nutrimetics comes number so easy to use for teenagers they don’t have to look just read the numbers. Daughter loves it and works. If you can make a teenager happy that’s half the battle for the moodiness. Have a look at http://www.nutrimetics.com.au/tracybaker

  • It is quite individual; different products react differently on individual skin. Maybe sample a few to find what works best. Also; see your GP for recommendations.

  • A good cleanser and light moisturiser will help. If it’s really bad, see a dermatologist.

  • I would talk to your doctor, they are very helpful.

  • pro active is good for teenagers

  • I couldn’t recommend highly enough all the products by a little Aussie company called Caroline’s Skin Care, based in Western Australia. Caroline’s products are designed for people with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and acne-prone skin. And they really get results. No chemicals, and they worked wonders on my niece when she “had a face full of spots” (as she put it). Go to …

for more information. I hope this helps.

  • Benzac A/C worked wonders for my face!

  • when i was younger my dr gave me a script for acne. it worked great maybe head to the drs

  • maybe ask the doctor ?

  • there are some good comments here

  • I have suffered acne for a couple of years. I have tried everything from creams, facials, medications and lost complete hope that I will have pure clear skin. Until I heard about SGA at clear skin care clinic and found immediate and great results. I really do suggest this to people suffering from acne and breakouts. It’s cleared up completely and brought out the best my skin has ever been. It’s fantastic and changed my life in so many ways, I’m confident and I’m happy to just jump up in the morning and put my sunscreen on and go

  • Dermal raisin will help out with acne

  • Some good advice there below.

  • This is a minefield. Our child tried everything, nothing worked, it cost a fortune. Eventually we went to the dr and he was referred to a specialist and prescribed roacutane which worked. It was wonderful to see his face clear up and his confidence come back. Good luck.

  • It really depends on the skin so maybe check with a dermatologist or try for some free advice at your big department store cosmetics counters

  • Poor thing. Clearasil is good but if very bad and infected you should see a doctor to get something stronger.
