I don’t think you should worry – there’s so much variation in these things. I’d go to the doctor if it’s not back in six months, though.

I suspect this is quite variable. With my eldest it was nearly six months after I’d stopped feeding; with my middle son I think only 3-4 months; and my youngest it was about 4-6 weeks.

I got my period back after 2 years of breastfeeding after a year

I didn’t get my period until week 14. I also didn’t get a full period straight away. Your body is still adjusting and figuring out what’s going on but if you’re worried or think you might be pregnant see your GP they will definitely be able to give you good advice.

I was a bottle feeding Mum from the start and yes I got my period back on week 12 post pregnancy, but everyone is different. Stressing about it wouldn’t help. And if you haven’t had unprotected sex you shouldn’t have any thing to worry about. It will come in its own time, your body is trying to readjust to all the changes.

Having talked to other Mums I don’t think there is a definite time line. I know one Mum who got pregnant before she got her first period, but then she had light periods during her pregnancy.

I bottle fed my baby from the start, I had a c section and bleed for 6 weeks from birth and then nothing until 13 weeks after having my Lo. I also had spotting, I would give it another week or two before you start to worry, everyone’s different

Try not to stress! Some people need a bit more time 🙂 unfortunately we can’t use textbook for these kind of things, everyone is different!
Mine came back after 6 weeks, and boy did it come back with a vengeance!
If you’re concerned, I’d head back to your doctor to see what they suggest. 🙂

Unfortunately I had difficulties with bleeding and went to my GP. Best to see a GP.

I can’t remember at all. But if you are worried, probably better to see your GP indeed.

I bf for 2 days and bottle after that. Post partum bleeding lasted 7 weeks, I got my period 4 days after it stopped. Go see your doctor just to be on the safe side.
