The Big4 chain is usually excellent. Price wise and quality wise. Many are family friendly with things to occupy the kids. Not sure if there’s one in the area you’re looking at, but worth looking for

I found really good accommodation on Hotels.com for a holiday last month. The guest reviews and photos give you a good idea of what a place is like.
