To tell you the truth , the family went there once and besides the Big Banana which everyone told us about there isn’t much else . A friend of mine due to cost cutting they used to have a train going around the banana plantations , but they stopped it and she was so disappointed . The old train sitting there must have been it . Good for a snoop , but once was enough .

I believe there is a porpoise pool at Coffs too!

The Big Banana is wonderful and the kids just love it – well worth a visit.

Coffs Harbour is a wonderful place to visit – great fishing areas, wonderful fresh seafood straight from the wharf where the trawlers come in, perfect weather all year, and banana plantations to check out. Google the area for special interests – we had friends there and really loved the place.

I would Google the information centre at Coffs Harbour and start from there.
