I’m in Launceston and went public all 3 times for mine. and had excellent care. I’ve heard Calvary in Hobart is excellent too.

You can check them both out and get a feel for them yourself – most will do a tour of facilities or let you speak to someone there before you decide.

Mine was at the Royal, basic but good, clean care. I have a friend who had her baby in the Hobart Private. It was awesome. You definitely notice the difference between private and public hospitals
