I find the Hotel Grand Chancellors are good. They’re usually ideally situated, priced reasonably and have lots of benefits

We stayed at Alto on Bourke at Christmas time, but I don’t think it had a pool. The big bonus though was being right in the CBD, with a tram stop literally on the door stop and opposite the station where the sky bus pulls in from the airport. They have 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments.

Glad trip advisor is a good tip for you. I find it so helpful and use it all of the time.
