Hello!

“Hi im just wondering if anyone has had a bad experience with Johnson & Johnson Aloe + Vit E baby powder? The doctor told us to apply cream and then powder on our bub to heal and prevent a nappy rash ( which he didnt have a rash just some minor redness in the deep creases of his thighs). So i did this and the next morning he then had a rash. I had stopped using it prior because i felt it caused a rash also but thought id give it another go. Anyone else had this? Should i give up powder all together or try a different brand? The rash clears when i stop using the powder.”

  • S26 Gold is the best.

  • I would stop using the powder and I use the bepanthen cream if I see they have redness it’s very good

  • I used J&J powder when the kids were small as we were given a lot from presents and no allergic reaction . There maybe something in the powder so bring this up with your childhood nurse or doctor and see what they say . Maybe stick to the creams in the meantime .

  • I dont use powder unless there is a bad rash and I use curash.

  • Don’t use Johnson’s and Johnson’s. It is truly awful stuff, all their products have carcinogenic’s in them.

  • Crash works for my Bub!

  • make sure skin is dry then use baby oil, or cream to protect babies skin, powder can clog pores and not protection against wetness.

  • I know its nothing special or expensive, but I swear by the Johnsons brand, Cornstarch talc.

  • I think curash is the bomb!!

  • Ring up the nurse on call and get advice. I used curash baby powder on my little ones and loved it.

  • I like the brand curash.

  • try a different brand, eg curash baby powder, all babies are sensitive to different things, you just have to experiment until you find what suits your baby. Also wash nappies in Lux powder, if not doing so, could be a sensitivity to the washing powder. Sudocreme is good for nappy rash.

  • Have you given Curash a go?

  • Did you try curash? I used that one at times.

  • I don’t like any Johnson and Johnson products, they are not as caring as they make out to be, considering their nasty ingredients.

  • I’d recommend not using powder at all- it actually clogs up pores & makes irritations worse. Most powders are just cornflour anyway. I found out the hard way that Johnsons products contain scents that irritate skin conditions.

  • Curash maybe might help :) But I use cornflour as recommended by my midwife

  • Crush baby rash powder works wonders

  • Johnson and Johnson has some nasty chemicals in their products. I use corn flour it works perfectly and is so cheap

  • Jhonson and jhonson was what I used
