We always do our turkey in the oven and it works every time but would love to know how it went on the b.b.q!

First I recommend you brine it first to stop it drying out.
I believe it is about 45 mins per kg. need to keep BBQ temp even. Get a meat thermometer to gauge that it is cooked. Martha Stewart has turkey recipes on her website. As does Williams-Sonoma. I’ve used several different recipes from both sites and now use my own. I get creative with brine- it really makes a big difference. Celery, onion and thyme stuffing is what I use. Brine in salt, pepper, celery and thyme mix for 24-48 hours depending on the size.
