My 2 year old gets cradle cap on and off. We are started using moo goo, but now it’s come back again. Any ideas?

  • I’m in the same boat I’m trying an essential oil blend to help remove it but I find it’s harder now that her hair in longer and thicker lol fingers crossed this is the last time she gets it!

  • Oddly enough, baby massage oil worked for us on cradle cap.

  • I definitely recommend straight up olive oil, My daughter had terrible cradle cap and it was the only thing that helped.

  • I used to use crush shampoo it has a nice tears formula and wash his hair everytime and after a few goes it worked and never came back

  • A good cradle cap comb worked for us

  • rub baby oil or even olive oil into the hair regularly – leave it in for a little while and then wash out.

  • We have used coconut oil on my son. Massage it in and then brush hair with a soft brush and alot of it comes out. I find it hasn’t come back either

  • More consistency – rub moo goo through the hair every few days to loosen it

  • If MooGoo works, no reason to stop using it. I found that applying olive oil and leaving it on over night helped to soften and therefore easy to remove. But I personally would keep using MooGoo til it doesn’t remove it anymore

  • Olive oil or coconut oil and warm wash cloth to exfoliate it off – apparently cradle cap is indicative of gut health so I’m not sure if you’ve looked into probiotics but that might be something to think about aswell.

  • An old fashion remedy l used was olive oil its natural effective and inexpensive something that you might have in the pantry

  • I used Moogoo when mine was newborn and it was great.

I used organic coconut oil before and it was ok.

  • Hi my daughter and son both had cradle crap I used coconut oil and left it on for 20 mins and then combed it all out after that just wash their hair it worked for me I hope it works for you too

  • Coconut oil and brush it through should get rid of it.
