It was normal for us to go to the boxing day sales as a kid. Get some good bargains as so many things were significantly reduced and exchange clothes that didn’t fit well etc.. It was mad, so many people and the lines at the register were insanely busy.
However with there so many sales on during the year boxing day sales are pretty poor value and have found many better deal actually before Christmas so I don’t bother with boxing day sales and the people.
I don’t really shop boxing day sales, they’re not that great. Shops are always having sales on, and 50% off or more sales don’t really happen on boxing day anymore.
I always by things for myself after Xmas and buy it for others before Xmas. This year for the first time I had to buy for family members after , because all of us could not work out a good time together so it will be done on Chinese New Year instead . These days life have to be flexible .
