We didnt plan on whether they were going to be different, but it workee out that way, our daughters names are, Makyra, Harper, Peyton, and our 4th was a boy which is Thomas, we were always prepared for the boys name due to bringing it down from generations before, i grew up with a different name, and alot of our childrens friends have unique names too, so its even better that they dont feel left out from personalised items in the shops haha
We didn’t got traditional or unique. We chose 2 boy names and 2 girl names when I first fell pregnant, just names we both liked. We had a boy first and then a girl, so all our favourite names were used
We went with 2 very different, and uncommon names. There is definitely no one else at their school with those names. I think it is nice to have some unique names.
Traditional for my first – Patrick (now 17) It’s his Dad and Grandad’s middle name and I loved it so it fit well. I notice there are lots of Patrick’s and Paddy’s being born now – I wonder if Offspring has anything to do with that? 🙂
Lauren for my daughter (16) as it wasn’t common back then and Ioved it.
All traditional normal names. Theyre orginal as a person and dont need an unusual name having to always correct peoples pronunciation.
Rhianna
Haylee
Aria

I choose two different names. India for my eldest girl (which is pretty original, although there’s now a few Indianna’s around!) My other daughter is Sofia which is a pretty common name. My best friend just had a baby girl called Autumn!
We have four children with traditional names. In regards to middle names they have some family meaning. My eldest has my first name as her middle name (as she was born on my birthday) my twin girls have both their grand mothers first names as their middle names and my son has his grandfathers (my husbands fathers) name as his middle name.
I have four children. They all have names that suit them. My stepdaughter has a very unique name, her father made it up…
My older two children from a previous relationship have semi traditional names.
Our youngest (child together) also has quite a unique name, but it was traditional in it’s time.
It depends on how you feel about names, and if you feel it fits your child. Children can sometimes be nasty, so think about the possibility it could be shortened into a nasty nickname. If you don’t like the abbreviation of a name, it is best to steer clear of it, as it is standard for people to shorten names.
My daughter’s name is Cynthia and I picked it out while I was reading a newspaper. After she was born a friend said do you know she reminds me of Cyndi from the Brady Bunch as that is the short version for her name . I said please don’t compare it to her as I’ve never liked the youngest child from the Bradys lol
