I have teeth issue now, which I started to notice during pregnancy. A baby basically drains you of nutrients to feed to the baby to help it develop. This is why it is recommended to take pregnancy multivitamins, to help replenish your body of essential nutrients that you are losing to your baby. Teeth need calcium and vitamin d and need phosphorus to absorb it. Coffee/tea and milk are common in most people’s diets – but caffeine inhibits the absorption of calcium and other vitamins. Perhaps having a good drink of milk after dinner but still early enough in the night (to help stop having extra trips to wee overnight). If ever unsure, see your GP for advice.
No – sore teeth and other problems due to the acid from vomiting, but not broken teeth. Best to get it checked by the dentist and maybe also have levels tested by a GP? Poor you, not a pleasant experience.
