  • No. It is expensive, based on my kids’ experience when they wanted to go horse riding!

  • I haven’t ridden a horse for decades, so I’m not sure about costs these days.

  • It’s not something I thought of recently for fitness! I haven’t been on a horse since I was about 15 but I loved how free it made me feel. I don’t know of any riding schools near where we live, but our neighbours keep several horses and are part of a trail riding club. If you know of anyone in a horse riding club, they might be able to point you to someone locally to help you out.

  • My friend does and she loves it. Has grown up doing it. She has her own horse though and I do think it’s expensive to keep. Riding schools shouldn’t be too much if it’s just a casual hobby.

  • Have found some people on facebook that ride horses.

  • No, I don’t, never been on a horse. Cost depends on if you have friends who own horses ;) I think some can be quite expensive

  • Good suggestions about getting to know local owners.

  • no. i think that it is expensive to ride a horse. get on good terms with local owners who might let you ride their horse
