  • I hate shopping full stop and I just want to go in get it and gone and now living on my own and in a small country town I don’t go to the big shopping centres asits the walking driving and then unpacking the car that gets to me and I just get so tired and I really don’t know anyone that likes food shopping.

  • I hate shopping and food shopping drives me nuts trying to get around finding all I need, I just want to get in and get out drive home and unpack and put away.

  • Yes I actually love grocery shopping going from shop to shop trying to find all those specials

  • I quite enjoy a stroll around the supermarket. But only if I know I have lots of time and only if I’m on my own. Generally, both of these never happen together and rarely on their own

  • I love to see what’s on reduced (or at least on special offer) which can be the basis of a (preferably healthy) meal for that evening – or maybe tomorrow’s breakfast.

  • I used to and would always go up and down every aisle and take my time to compare products and look for new items. Now I find it much easier to do my food shopping online. So far every delivery that I have had has been free as there are so many promotions and incentives available.

  • Only if I get to go by myself ????

  • I generally do. If I’m on my own and it’s a quieter time in the store, I take my time and really enjoy it.

  • I rather enjoy shopping for food. I stroll around the aisles picking things up, looking for new innovative products and generally taking my time. Its most enjoyable when I don’t have children with me. People are friendly too and always willing to stop and have a chat usually about the weather. I always take a list with me too.

  • I love food shopping , i try and think of what would work best for dinners and lunch before I go , and where has the best sales on for the week , most of the time I end up at Aldis because I can get a huge trolley full for under $140 but go to Coles or woolies and spend tripple

  • I don’t like grocery shopping at all. It is tedious and the only benefit is a pantry full of food as my reward.

  • If I get to go by myself I love food shopping. I can spend hours in there checking out whats new and rediscovering things I forgot even exisited.

  • Yeah, I quite like shopping for food. I often take my 3 year old with me. She has Down syndrome and is such a social butterfly, blows kisses and waves to every one…she’s a delight !

  • I love going food shopping when I dont have the kids. I like being able to look down each aisle at my own pace. BUT when I have the kids I like to get in and out as quick as possible.

  • To be honest, sometimes I love it, others I don’t especially if the shelves haven’t been re-filled. I have also found stock in the refrigerated sections has not been rotated or expired stock been marked down or just taken off the shelves. I hve found that Vanilla flavoured yoghurt doesn’t keep as long as others do – sometimes not even close the the “Use By” date. On one occasion it had a slightly fizzy flavour and I thought had altered the ingredients. It still smelt. My stomach decided otherwise. In actual fact I have been caught twice. In the first case I didn’t notice a taste difference. The second time I only ate a few spoons full before I realised it was not just differently prepared vanilla. I was even sicker with that tub. I no longer buy Vanilla unless it has a long time before the use by date

  • Thanks for your answers,l like shopping for food when l have time.It is something we all have to do but l dislike it when l am rushing to get everything done!

  • I enjoy shopping for food. I like looking at all the different products on offer. I like to think of all the different meals I can make with the different cuts of meat. I like to look at the baking goods to because I love to bake.

  • Same as others, as long as I’m on my own. Although last time my 3 year old was helping by asking what’s next and getting it for me.
Getting it home and unpacking is the worst part I reckon

  • I love it, but only if I’m on my own and can take my time.

  • I do actually. Especially if I can manage to do it on my own. I really enjoy strolling the aisles checking things out
