Depending on what you want to redeem your flybuys points for I have found it can sometimes take a long while. Up to you where to shop but we do need to think about value for money.

Flybuys points are a bit of a bonus in our household, its like something for nothing. You buy what you need, and you get points that are equal to money, so thats a bonus which ever way you look at it. Of course there are lots of enticements and incentives from Coles too.

Absolutely. And check indeed for dockets in your receipt. Register your email to activate special products where you earn more Flybuys. And check your post. I’ve just received my vouchers to use during the next 12 weeks. And, checking the statement, I can see that the bonus points are really a lot more than the standard points you receive while shopping. So it’s surely worth using the vouchers, at least the ones that you give triple points. They don’t require you any change in your shopping habits.

I feel they do. I find that Coles is cheaper than Woolies anyway. Flybuys points are easy to earn and they add up quickly. Free money is always a good thing right?!

Our family has been a user of Flybuys for a long time and lost heaps of points in the past in the old system . it is only in the last few years they have changed this to allow more points to be claimed and no expiry . So if you do go to the affillated stores , just join as it is free anyway .

I shop at Coles because that is a lot nearer to me. I can either go for a good walk or go via the council bus as I have a medical condition and don’t drive.
Costco isn’t near me and you have to pay a membership every year.
Aldi is cheaper for a lot of things – they only have their own brand. I have only tried a few things when I have been staying with somebody who goes there.
Being on my own it has taken me awhile to save points. A few months ago I redeemed some of my points for Coles Myer Gift Cards. $150.00 worth. One paid for the groceries for 5 of us when we went interstate recently. Some of the food was specific dietary needs, about 1 1/2 to 2 X dearer than “normal” food.

I think that if your objective is to have extra money in your pocket each week then stick to Aldi. I save my FB points to trade them in for things I want. I’m currently saving up for a kitchenaid mixer which I would never have the spare cash to buy.

I love my Flybuys & try to get the best out of my bonus points but will only buy something if I will use it. I mostly shop at Coles but also at Aldi & Costco. If your objective is to save money on your groceries then stick with Aldi.I just cashed in some points to buy a Fitbit Blaze for my son’s birthday which otherwise would’ve cost me $300. I have used points to buy Ipad, scanpans etc. I use my points to get luxury items.

I shop mostly at Coles but I also pick up whatever is on special at Woolies and get nappy supplies from Aldi. I definitely think Fly Buys are good because the bonus points offers they do add up quite well. I cash in about $180 each year which equates to around one full FREE shop for us per year. It might not sound like a huge amount but every little bit helps and the new Woolies system is useless for my needs so it’s flybys all the way.

I have so many flybuys points and I have not gotten around to figuring out what to do with them. So for now they are just accumulating. Not sure what is the best option

Definitely worth it. I’m using the flybuys dollars to get 10$ off my groceries. I would chose Coles over Woolies – I do find it to be cheaper. They have specials that give you double or triple points (check your docket) or 500pts if you buy a particular products. I also find Coles has a better variety of products.

I like to shop at Coles over Woolworths because of the flybuys reward system, most of the time they have bonus points or triple points which does help!

I love collecting flybuy points, especially when there’s so many places you can scan the card such as Kmart, Target, Coles petrol stations etc. I have been saving mine to redeem for experience tickets for holidays with my family. When holidays can be expensive, that will save enough for me to be happy.

I switched from Woolworths to Coles because of the woolworths debarcle with their rewards card. I shop at coles because it is convenient and I only get things that I need for our normal weekly shop. The flyby points I am accruing I am planing on using to purchase groceries at christmas time when we always need the extra $$ – so in a sense I am using it as a christmas savings account for my groceries!

Best to shop where you get the best value.

Shop where it’s the cheapest, and buy specials from Coles/Kmart/target etc. the flybuys points do add up. I redeem them for vouchers to use in these stores. Don’t buy products just to redeem the points if you don’t need them or they aren’t a bargain

I shop at Woolworths usually but do shop sometimes at Coles and Target and that’s when I accrue the points. I look for the best value when shopping and not swayed by earning rewards points.

shop where you are happy to shop and do have a flybuys hard handy,, only when you need them the points do not expire so do not worry they will add up it might just take a little longer.. I do half of my shopping at coles and the rest elsewhere.. But do have your email included so if there are any supper good buys with bonus points you will know about it..

I get what you mean. I have Flybuys but I still shop at Aldi and then top up at Coles or sometimes Woolies (depending on the specials!). I guess I give priority to saving money. The points I get through any supplementary shopping or non grocery retailers go towards vouchers for groceries or I use it to purchase goods like magazine subscriptions etc so I am making a saving all round. Hope this makes sense.
