Yes, for many decades. I don’t have time to spend two hours plus at the hairdressers. I used to always use Nice’n easy but I’ve recently changed to L’Oreal Excellence Creme and love it. Just my personal opinion but I find it superior to the other brand and my hair feels and looks the best it has done in years. Instead of paying $16.00 for it at Woolworths, I wait until they have it on special for $10.00 and buy several boxes each time.

I do my own hair at home. I may not do it perfectly but im saving money and i dont take 4hrs in a hairdresser. I rather be comfortable as well. As for brands i just choose the ones on special but popular brands. If i choose cheaper ones i put coconut oil the next day to put moisture back in as i get dry on the ends.

I do not colour my hair and lol people ask me where I get my hair coloured! I love the natural grey streaks and highlights. I would google hair sites and get reviews on hair dyes – just to ensure you have information about any possible reactions to the dyes, price and coverage. Good luck!

Most hair dyes are toxic, so be carful around babies and children, even yourself. There are some natural brands but also henna.

How very strange I have only just had my hair cut today (hello boy do those greys show up after a cut) and returning back home gave my hair a fresh new colour. Now back to the question at hand ..personally I tend to purchase hair dyes when on special and have a tendency to buy what is on special as long as I can get a colour I like. Today I used Schwarzkopf salon permanent but I have also used Revlon colorsilk, Garnier Nutrisse but probably my favourite would be Garnier OLIA with oils. Personally I can’t justify the money hairdresser’s/salons charge for colouring hair and while I can still see and manage i will do my own at home. All the best to you and happy colouring:-)
