Hello!

I really want to get false eyelashes! My eye lashes are not very good…I have half dark and the tips are light. Has anyone had them before? How do you ensure they last? How long do they last? How do you look after them?

Thanks!

  • Personally I don’t. Why would I pretend to look different than I do. I am who I am with the eyelashes i have. I don’t wear make-up either, but have done in the past. On a certain point I got sick of it, disliking that I watched myself in the morning without make-up and thought that I looked ugly. This was for me the point to quit it all together.

  • I find a good mascara is less hassle for me

  • got myself some! you get a thing of glue to apply them yourself and the pack that i bought already has the glue in it (even though it didn’t state this on the pack). you can use tweezers to help you position them. I just pull mine off lol but you can get stuff to dissolve the glue. Water and detergent cleans mine. Watch the many youtube tutorials to help give you ideas.

i have a full set of lashes but you can buy individual ones if you like. Much more time (fiddly) to place them though. And yeah all different brands and styles- think beyonce, madonna, kim k etc for little to maximum impact!

As for your normal eyelashes, i suggest that you go and get them tinted. This is quick to get done and will make your eyelashes look like you have mascara on even though you don’t but it will make them all one-colour.

  • I had them a few times. These days I don’t bother. They come in a variety of styles and lengths, curls or straight etc. Depending on who you go to will depend on the range they have. They usuall give you a take away dry mascara wand to use as a brush so that they don’t criss cross and get tangled. I have a feeling from memory that you can’t use an oil based eye make up remover. It’s like anything else that is artificial – once you get the first lot it’s the maintainence that will continue to cost and also finding the time to get there.
