  • I love Keto with a Mediterranean twist – you do not have to have high fat content with saturated fats. Healthy fats like avocados and olive oil can make up the daily fats that you need for satiation as well as brain fuel. There is now a Mediterranean/keto diet that combines the nest of both worlds. Mediterranean diet is the best in the world and keto leaves me feeling the least bloated ever and the most alert.

  • I never do this but i heard its really good

  • Keto is not meant to be used long term it is very dangerous to stay on it for long periods, you will end up with health issues. You will be better off on a wholefood plant based diet, low in fat, low in protein, high in carbs (only wholefood carbs not processed).

  • Fermented foods are great on the ketodiet for gut health, if you follow the right consumption method for it you are meant to have plenty of energy and your meant to burn fat easier and produce ketones which is a better source of energy for your body and during the keto flu you’ll feel like you have no energy but once past that you’ll be properly in ketotis, thanks for the replies…..

  • I was on it for about 7 weeks. You are supposed to have plenty of energy to go walking etc. but it sapped my energy. I had to eat the fat on the meat to prevent constipation. I lost a bit of weight but my cholestoral doubled in about 6 weeks. My GP doesn’t know how I didn’t have a heart attack or stroke.

  • It’s hard to stay on, not sure how long I could do it and if it’s healthy long term but have lost about 15kg on it :)

  • we are about to start this week with my husband as we want to shed some pounds to our weight. I’ve heard good things about the keto diet and would love to have a good result too

  • I’ve found all diets die in the end. The key is moderation.

  • Although I think that good and healthy fats and proteins are important (but so are vitamins and minerals) and carbs not as much I’m not following any diet. I believe in a good healthy and balanced diet and plenty of moving and exercise, not only for those who want to lose weight, but for all of us.

  • I like a variety of food and any restriction is a big NO! :)

  • I’m not one to follow any particular diet. I have looked at the keto diet and thought it was restricting and would be hard to follow long term. Now, I just try and eat healthy, exercise and limit junk food. I’m not losing weight, but I’m not gaining either

  • this worked really well for me when i initially started to loose weight. but was not sustainable. In saying that, I’ve now lost 50kg and living a sustainable lifestyle with Balance. I enjoy all foods, but after cutting out so much food from my diet my guts really struggled to reintroduce everything back in. I now bloat so badly, but working hard to work back all the vitamins and minerals for a healthy balanced diet :)

  • I do not follow any diets, I eat a well balanced diet and exercise.
