Does anyone eat protein bars? Do they work?

  • I used to eat protein bars regularly when I was weightlifting to help increase my protein intake by eating, not just drinking protein. The bars aren’t great. I’m not sure what you mean by “do they work?” they will add protein to your daily intake but probably nothing more than that.


  • I have tried them but don’t particularly like them.

  • I haven’t eaten them. I reckon they would be beneficial if you have an autoimmune disease (there are many of them) which prevents you from absorbing nutriment from your food even if you eat a balanced diet. Hopefully you would absorb at least some from them.
