Hello!

I really love these two and would love to be able to make them for Christmas while waiting for bubs to arrive.

  • Rum balls……1 packet of milk arrowroot biscuits, finely crushed, 1 tine of sweetened condensed milk, 1 cup of coconut plus extra for rolling in, 2 Tblsps of cocoa and 2 Tblsps of rum. Mix together, roll into tablespoon size balls and cost in coconut. Eat and enjoy! One of my favourites too and so easy to put together

  • If you can, try to get your hands on a copy of Day to Day cookery. Great recipes in there. I use it all the time! I’m lucky as mum let me keep it when I left home (it is hers)

  • I used this recipe a couple of years ago for white christmas and it was a hit :) White Christmas is so easy to make, once you know what’s in it lol enjoy!

  • I Have an old family recipe for rum balls. 8 crushed weetbix, a tin of condensed milk, a cup of dessicated coconut, a couple of tablespoons of cocoa and 1/4 to 1/2 cup of rum (depending how strong you like it). I soak a cup of chopped sultanas in the rum then add to the rest of the mix. Mix it all together, leave in fridge until firm (overnight if you like), then roll into balls and into coconut. You can keep them in the fridge or freezer.
