  • Calcium, magnesium, vitamin E and vitamin B-6 have all been reported to soothe symptoms, but evidence is limited or lacking. Herbal remedies. Some women report relief of PMS symptoms with the use of herbs, such as ginkgo, ginger, chasteberry (Vitex agnus), evening primrose oil and St. John’s wort.

  • Time out Help ! Warm baths and healthy eating helps too

  • I would check out Chemist warehouse or similar discount chemists as well!

  • I would speak to a good pharmacist and tell them you want something natural. Normally they will ask you what medications you are on and others you may take (off the shelf – not necessarily) as you can have interactions – even with more than one natural product only.

  • Ive heard rose hip and exercise!

  • This is something I really need to work on for myself as well. I always mean to pick up some primrose oil tablets but the time of the month is always upon me being I even remember to do so :/

  • Rise hip Capsules is what I got recommend.

  • SAW THIS THE OTHER DAY,NOT SURE IF i REPLIED. BUT A WARM BATH AND MASSAGE TUMMY CLOCKWISE GENTLY AS IN WATER YOU RESIDE. hOT WATER BOTTLE WRAPPED IN TOWEL ON TUM IS ANOTHER I HAVE TRIED…THE WARMTH LETS YOUR MUSCLES RELAX AND YOU TOO, OLD REMEDIES WORK MAGIC, HOPE THESE HELP FOR YOU. MY ART PAINTING AT TAFE OF ME

  • I find exercise to help the most

  • Magnesium is great for cramping, but check with your doctor before you take it as it can react with some medication.

  • I take both evening primrose and magnesium and it has made a difference to my mood and pain. I started with the evening primrose (before I heard about the magnesium) and had noticed a difference with just that. magnesium is also good for headaches and I suffer a lot with PMT and have had less since taking it. I get both from Chemist warehouse or similar discount chemists.and magnesium especially is quite cheap in bulk (compared to other vitamins)

  • Magnesium is another good one

  • I heard evening primrose can help. There might be something else on the market now – maybe visit a health food shop. I bought some maca powder for my juicer and it says it ‘balances hormones’.

  • heat packs for any cramps
a friend eats liver for iron boost

  • I have heard that yoga and relaxation techniques have been helpful to some women.

  • evening Primrose oil I believe is good… and lots of rest ;)

  • Luckily I never had many problems, but when I did my GP advised me to take some evening primrose oil and I must say that it helped.
