i was a hairdresser so i think that you could advise your local hairdressers and see what solutions they have. i would suggest foils. the dye doesn’t touch your scalp and you can get quite a few, if you want to disguise or camouflage any greys. Products are constantly coming out that are less harsh to the scalp so it really depends on what your hairdresser stocks.

Health food stores have natural products for colouring hair – check them out and have a good chat to them – they have so much information.

I use Herbatint when I colour my Mum’s hair. No irritation from harsh chemicals.
