Forum Does anyone Suffer from Gout

I have been asking my Dr for ages could I be tested for Gout as if I eat certain foods my joints become so sore and inflamed and I cannot walk when it get severe has anyone or know of anyone with Gout as I am interested what some of the other symptoms are many thanks

  • When you feel your Dr is not taking you serious, I would consult a different Doctor for sure

  • Gout causing immense swelling and pain! Can lead to needing to be drained and hospitalisation.

    Alcohol, drugs & your diet are all a factor in the cause.

  • A relative has it and tomatoes and alcohol make it flare up. He is on medication for it. very debiltating at times.

  • My father in law suffered with Gout, he would get swallon feet and legs and couldn’t walk and was in iscrutiating pain. Seafood and alcohol flared his up the most.

  • Yes I have Gout and I dont drink any Alcohol at all not one drop

  • My sister in laws brother in law suffered from gout. I was told it was caused by excessive alcohol consumption. I remember he would get quite sick at times
