    Loved it, wanted more

I said I was making a milkshake and was pleasantly surprised by how fast he drank it. I love that it is packaged with iron and vitamin D which always run low requiring supplements. The great taste made it easy to drink. It was easy for me to make. A winner in our household.

    Finally one he likes!

We’ve tried other supplement drinks such as Sustagen, Nutra Organics, Kid Essentials and myriad protein powders/flavours to help fill in the gaps when appetite is low and interest in wholesome foods is practically non existent. My 7yo also has sensory issues and won’t drink Ovaltine or even warm or cold Milo (IKR!? MILO!) - he can’t tolerate the texture of any of these powdered supplements. I can not simply introduce new food items without giving the full run down of what its about (tell me you’re neurodivergent without telling me) so after a long conversation about health, nutrition, growth and development for the gazillionth time, he agreed to try this one.

Regardless of Pediasure containing milk proteins (we also have dairy intolerance to make things even more difficult) there’s been no digestive distress to report and after trialling the first sample sachet after school on the day it finally arrived, I was ecstatic to hear him asking for more because it was “nutritious and delicious”.

For breakfast the next day there was a note on the kitchen bench with his ‘order’. How could I refuse?

Pediasure Vanilla Powder has been very well received and I am delighted! Hopefully my local Chemist Warehouse re-stocks soon, I took the last one on the shelf the other day.

    Excellent for our toddler

My toddler and I have had such a great experience trying PediaSure, it has been a great addition to his day. At this age his appetite can be hit or miss, so I love that I can open a sachet of PediaSure and know that not only will it give him a huge boost of essential vitamins and minerals, but he'll love the taste. This was so easy to prepare and he really enjoyed drinking it. It's absolutely something I will look to buy in future and wish I had tried it sooner.

    Picky eater thumbs up!!

Easy to make up, just mix with water. It is purposed as a meal supplement and also can be a complete meal replacement! Which makes it very reassuring for helping my picky eater get what his body needs, while we work on fixing the picky eating. I also have a toddler who has been diagnosed with "failure to thrive", who fell below the growth chart, so this is a very useful resource to help with their nutritional needs.

I told my 5 year old "this is a vanilla milkshake" - he drank ALL of it! And gave 2 thumbs up! Taste test passed! I'm so pleased!

    Great option for fussy children

I was a bit skeptical that my boys would like it as they are notoriously fussy. But lo and behold, they both enjoyed it straight away. They even enjoyed the vanilla flavour, so I'm sure they'd like the chocolate just as much.

The drink was easy to prepare, with the powder coming in an easy-tear, easy-pour packet. I just mixed it with tap water, and the drink was ready in a minute. Both my 5-year-old and my 7-year-old enjoyed the flavour and would happily drink it again.

With all the added vitamins and minerals in Pediasure, this is an easy win for their nutrition, and I'll definitely be keeping this stocked in the house for those days where they eat less.

    Nutritious PediaSure power

PediaSure has a very fine powder and it can easily dissolve in water without any clumps. It has a vanilla flavour and it is to my kid liking. PediaSure offers many benefits to the kids- like support bone and muscle development, healthy appetite, and support brain health. And the most important thing is my kid just enjoy drinking it via the sippy cup.

Nil by mouth for a year and now loving tube free life

Our daughter’s journey has been anything but ordinary. After being nil by mouth for a year and needing a nasogastric tube, watching her enjoy Pediasure Vanilla has been incredibly special. She has Trisomy 21 and is healthy, though petite, like some of her siblings. We use Pediasure to complement her oral food intake, and she absolutely loves the flavour. Seeing her happily drink it gives us reassurance that she is getting extra support while enjoying something she genuinely loves. It has become a cherished part of her routine and a reminder of how far she has come

    Game changer!

I honestly couldn't be happier with PediaSure Complete Balanced Nutrition Supplement. As a parent, making sure my child is getting enough nutrients can be stressful, especially during those phases where they're incredibly fussy with food. Since introducing PediaSure into our routine, it's given me so much peace of mind knowing they're getting a wide range of essential vitamins, minerals and high-quality protein in one easy drink.

One of the biggest positives is how much my child genuinely enjoys the taste. We've tried other nutritional drinks in the past that were refused after one sip, but this one has become something they actually look forward to drinking. It mixes really well, has a smooth, creamy texture and doesn't leave any gritty residue.

I also love how convenient it is. Whether it's for breakfast on a busy morning, an afternoon snack or after a particularly picky day of eating, it's quick to prepare and takes away the worry that they're missing out on important nutrients.

Over time I've noticed my child seems to have more consistent energy throughout the day and is generally happier and more active. While every child is different, it's reassuring knowing they're receiving complete, balanced nutrition with protein, healthy fats and 28 essential vitamins and minerals to help support healthy growth, bone development and immunity.

Another feature I appreciate is that it contains ingredients to support digestive and immune health, including prebiotic fibre and a probiotic in the powder formulation, along with nutrients like vitamins A, C, D and zinc.

The quality of the product is obvious, and I feel confident giving it to my child because it's specifically designed for children aged 1–10 years who may need extra nutritional support. It's become a valuable addition to our daily routine without replacing healthy meals.

Overall, I highly recommend PediaSure to any parent looking for a reliable nutritional supplement. It's easy to prepare, tastes great, provides complete balanced nutrition, and most importantly, gives me confidence that my child is getting the nutritional support they need during those challenging picky eating stages.

    Two thumbs up

The ready to drink Chocolate PediaSure is a huge hit in our house. With twins who are small and are fussy eaters, this gave them a yummy 'treat' that ticked all the boxes for a

busy mum. We'd definitely be giving the strawberry one to. This will be added into our regular shop from now on.

Really easy to mix and tasted like a vanilla thickshake!

Pediasure powder was a really simple straightforward powder into water, it was easy to mix with no lumps or weird texture. My daughter said it tasted like a vanilla thickshake from Mcdonald’s. It’s got awesome nutritional value and feels like a sweet treat for the kids while also giving them what their body needs! I’ve always struggled with maintaining my daughters weight and this seems to be a good solution to that.

    Great Potential

PediaSure has a great range of ingredients which is perfect for fussy eaters. My daughter enjoyed it on the first day but the days after she would not drink more than a couple of sips. However I think she is extra picky and PediaSure is a great and complete product. I also liked it that the sachet was so easy to open.

    A lifesaver for fussy days!

My little one is two years old and when it comes to eating, his appetite depends entirely on which way the wind is blowing. Some days he's a great eater, other days? Not so much. So having something I can fall back on to make sure he's still getting his vitamins and minerals is a real win.

I told him it was a vanilla milkshake and he didn't need any convincing after that! It's super easy to prepare — just mix the powder with water — and it came out smooth with a nice consistency, no lumps or fuss. He drank the whole thing without hesitation.

I'll definitely be keeping a few sachets in the cupboard for those fussy days!

    My fussy eater loved this!

My daughter is an incredibly fussy eater, so I’m always trying to find ways to make sure she’s getting enough nutrients. PediaSure has been a great backup for those days when she barely touches her meals or refuses certain foods.

I was actually surprised she liked the taste, as she’s usually very particular with anything new. It’s given me some reassurance knowing she’s getting a bit of extra support while we continue working on expanding the foods she’ll eat.

The only downside for me is that I wasn’t 100% sure about some of the ingredients, but overall it’s been really helpful and something that works for us.

    Great drink

My son is a very fussy eater and I worry if he is getting the right things in him to help with his bodys needs. He loves milk so giving him the vanilla helped as he is very hard to get to try new things. He knew no difference and gave me peace of mind he was getting benefits compared to all the milk he drinks that doesn't.

    Fussy eater will love it!

My 11-year-old is an incredibly fussy eater, so I'm always looking for ways to help boost their nutrition. PediaSure has been a huge success in our house. The vanilla flavour is smooth and delicious, and it's one of the few drinks my child will finish.

It gives us peace of mind that they're getting extra nutrition, especially on days when they're not eating a balanced diet.

    It's quick to prepare.

I'd highly recommend PediaSure to any parent struggling with a fussy eater who needs a little nutritional support.

    A miss for my son

We could only try one sachet of the vanilla powder for my son. As he is on the spectrum so is bit picky around trying new things specially he is a not fan of milk. I still prepared and gave him with cereal. He tried and didn't want to continue much finishing his cereal with pediasure. I also tried to understand why he didn't like. The taste is quite intense and texture also not friendly for us. Unfortunately, this is a miss for us.

Not the product for my fussy eater

Tried to give my 7 year old the pedicure instead of her sugar free hot chocolate on two seperate occasions, however she said she didn’t enjoy the pediasure, she said it was very grainy. So I mixed it super well the second time and she said she still didn’t like how it felt in her mouth

  • Perfect for my 2 year old

My 2 year old has recently stopped drinking milk from a bottle and having Pediasure has encouraged her to drink from a cup.

She loves being able to mix it up, she enjoys the vanilla flavour and I love it because I know she’s getting all the vitamins and nutrients that she wasn’t getting from the milk.

I’m grateful I had the opportunity to try the sample, we will definitely keep buying it :)

  • So good!

Having an autistic child with strong sensory aversions and limited food intake, I wasn't sure how they would go tolerating PediaSure. I needn't have worried though, the product was a hit! His first reaction was "yum!" As soon as he had finished, he asked for another glass!! PediaSure has put my mind at ease, knowing he is getting the required nutrients on days when he is struggling to eat. I have already bought more, and will make sure I keep the cupboard stocked!

  • My fussy eater/drinker loved it!!

My little one has been fussy since the day she started solids. It’s so hard to actually ‘fill her up’. I’ve tried multiple different products to try and help but she’s just as fussy with those and needs ‘added’ ingredients to even think about drinking them. I was so shocked when she took to PediaSure first time and LOVED it. She now asks for it each night which is such a relief to know she’s getting some good nutrients and can go to bed with a full tummy.

  • Peace of mind when illness and low appetite strikes!

We've been trying PediaSure vanilla recently, and it couldn't have come at a better time. My toddler has been unwell and this has been paired with a low appetite. As a mum I'm always worried about my childrens' wellbeing and having PediaSure on hand at home gave me the peace of mind that my little one was still getting good nutrition even when her food intake was low. The taste is great and it mixes well to a smooth consistency - no lumps which is toddler approved. Big thumbs up from us!

  • So easy and filling!

As a mum of an 8-year-old and a busy 2-year-old, our mornings can be pretty chaotic, so I'm always looking for ways to make breakfast easier without compromising on nutrition.

We started using PediaSure as a quick breakfast option on those rushed mornings when we were heading out the door. I blended it with ice, a banana and a drizzle of honey (not that the extras are needed) but it’s what we normally do with our smoothies anyway, and both of my kids absolutely loved it. My 8-year-old happily drinks it at home, while my 2-year-old has his poured into a Subo bottle to sip in the car on the way, which has honestly made our mornings so much smoother.

One thing that really stood out to me was how filling it is. I noticed they weren't asking for snacks an hour later like they sometimes do with other grab-and-go breakfast drinks. Knowing they're getting protein, vitamins and other nutrients in something they genuinely enjoy drinking gives me peace of mind, especially on those busy days when a cooked breakfast just isn't realistic.

I also like that it's designed to support growing kids and isn't just another sugary breakfast drink. It's become one of those products I will keep in the pantry because it's convenient, the kids enjoy it, and it helps take some of the stress out of our morning routine!

  • A nutritional shake that my fussy eater enjoys

Miss 9 is a beige food eater. It feels like everything is beige and chicken nuggets are seen a lot!!

We were skeptical trying this as have tried other things in the past the help get more vitamins and minerals into her diet. Now with this, sometimes texture can be a deciding point also with what she eats but we were surprised and happy when she really enjoyed the vanilla flavoured sachet.

Was super easy to mix and didn’t really have any lumps left (we used one of those mini battery hand whisk)

Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.

Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.

Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.

“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”

Even then, it’s not ideal.

“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”

A New Loaf On The Block

Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.

It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.

“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”

Made with baker’s flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt, JUST bread contains no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.

For Bec, it sounded almost too good to be true. “When we saw JUST bread, I was like, ‘You’re joking.’ A bread that’s fresh baked but in the bread aisle? That’s unheard of for us.”

“It was really exciting for our family and for the allergy community.”

The Family’s Toughest Critic Approved

Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.

“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”

Bec says she was impressed too.

“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”

A Simpler Option For Everyday Families

Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.

“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”

It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.

Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.

JUST bread keeps things simple with a handful of pantry ingredients and no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours. It’s the sort of loaf that fits easily into busy family life without asking us to compromise on taste or convenience.

Little Changes, Big Difference

For Bec, finding a loaf of bread her whole family can enjoy is about more than ticking another item off the shopping list.

“It seems like such a little thing to the normal community, but for us this is a massive win.”

Being able to make sandwiches without worrying about ingredients. Packing lunchboxes a little more easily. Bringing back fairy bread for birthdays. Sometimes it’s the little things that make family life feel a whole lot simpler.

And while Bec found JUST bread because she needed another allergy-friendly option, its simple ingredient list is likely to appeal to plenty of other families too. After all, when we can choose everyday foods made with ingredients we recognise, that’s a pretty good place to start.

JUST Bread is made on a line that also processes soy and sesame.

Mouths of Mums is proudly working with JUST. to bring you this article. JUST bread is made with just a handful of pantry ingredients.  JUST. The Good Stuff.

  • I am so glad to hear about this and will definitely be on a look out for this in the supermarket. I have noticed that there are starting to be more ‘cleaner’ products in the supermarket, meaning consumers are being heard. We are going full circle back to how foods use to be produced before companies got greedy and started taking shortcuts to producing food items. I hope we continue seeing more preservative and additive free options that are affordable come back in the supermarkets.

I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.

  • I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.

  • This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo

  • I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.

  • I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it

  • Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!

  • This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go
