  • No, I used to get heart palpitations from the old formula though. It’s most likely your cold, I get a bit foggy and dizzy if I am running myself down with a cold or sinusitis. Best to see your doctor because a fever or infection can also give you that loopy feeling. Hope you feel better soon.


  • I’m good with Codral but hubby isn’t. it makes him not sleep & makes his heart race!


  • My son get hyper from things such as raspberry cordial and red lollies. I think it may be the colouring used in them.


  • No reaction to Codral here – colds can make you feel all sorts of symptoms and they vary from person to person. If it goes on for a few days though, you should check with your doctor.

  • It could be your cold or you could be having an allergic reaction to it.? Did you seek advice from a pharmacist or just grab it off the shelf. If you are taking any medications – prescriptions or not or natural preparations there could interactions which can cause serious issues. Not all people follow the instructions as far as dosage is concerned.
