I used to have a Fitbit surge which I loved, kept me motivated but I was on the lookout for something that didn’t look like a fitness watch so that I could wear it out to dinner and social occasions. I now have the rose gold Fatmin vivo ove HR and I love it. I get so many compliments on it, it has the analogue hands and when you look at the screen they move out of the way and the digital display appears. It shows the time and date and you can scroll to see steps, heart rate, stress level, I can control Spotify and preview my emails, messages etc. it syncs well with the app and battery lasts a couple of days.
Garmin vivofit look really nice, more like a dress watch then a plastic looking fitness tracker. Or the Fitbits are good and I have also used the Apple Watches which have a fitness tracker inbuilt, quite pricey but all depends what you want it for.
I had a Fitbit Charge HR, which was replaced twice under warranty (cosmetic issues). When another cosmetic issue came up again, they gave me a discount for a different model. I went for the Alta, because I like the thinner wristband.
I like the phone notifications and silent alarm features.
I have a Fitbit and love the brand. I broke the connection on the band a year or 2 ago and emailed them to ask if they had that bit available or it there was somewhere I could go to fix it. It wasn’t a fault or anything, I just broke it while playing at a play centre. They said they weren’t really fixable and they sent me a new FitBit. It wasn’t in the warranty period and had no fault. They were amazing. Great customer service. Just check out the features available and decided what is important to you to help you choose a model.
I have a very basic flex 2 but I like it. It reminds me to move and lets me know if I have a phone call or text. That is all I want it to do so its perfect for me.
I posted a similar question a little while back and got some great answers. If you search for fitness tracker you will see the answers – helpful answers too!
I used an old fashioned pedometer for years and when I got a fitbit it was way way out in how accurate my step count was. It would say I’d done 50k on a day which I know would be around 15k. So I just took it back after a couple of weeks.
I had the original fitbit charge and loved it! However I needed to replace it three times due to the band bubbling & pulling away from the tracker. They’ve changed the design now so it can’t do this anymore, which is great as that was the only flaw. I have the Ulta HR and think the Charge was more accurate at detecting the heart rate. I picked the Ulta because of the thin design but regret that decision now lol!
My son bought me a $30 tracker, my daughter has one worth over $200. Only difference I can see between the 2 is she can put personal pictures on her watch face. Moral of the story, you don’t need to spend a fortune on one!
